Gorgeous Gowns is appointment only to allow for a more personalised one-on-one experience for our customers. From our experience, appointments better enable our customers to find "the dress" as they are guided into styles that they are lookng for and more importantly, what suit them by our expert staff!

Our appointments run for 30 minutes. Our specialised team will assist you in choosing 5 dresses that will suit you and match your vision! 

The best shopping experiences are often when you just come with one, or two people. Often when we see shoppers come into the store with a large group of friends/family, they end up confused, frustrated and without a dress because there are too many opinions.

If you are in Year 10 we would recommend shopping around April. If you are in Year 12 we would recommend shopping ASAP with the chaos of exams and the HSC, the earlier you secure your formal dress the better!

Remember, you need to allow time for alterations and to get accessories and shoes!  

You should always aim to get a formal dress that YOU feel confident in - if it happens to be similar to what your friend feels confident in - twin! Remember: there are only so many colours and styles of dresses so double-ups of similar styles are somewhat inevitable.  In saying that, we always try to get fresh stock and designs and avoid re-ordering styles once we have sold-out to limit similar styles on formal day. 

No, our dresses are not available to hire. They are brand new for purchase only.
